RM Buildings Travel to Nunavut

The Government of Nunavut required two base camp shelters 16′ wide x 24′ long x 9′ high.nunavut-crates

Because our components can all be shipped flat, we were able to crate the parts for the long trip north. The parts also had to be stored until they could be shipped to their final destination

The buildings were assembled on site by park personnel.  The buildings were strapped down for anchoring until they can be mounted onto the supplied jack stands.

Note that each building has 36″ x 36″ windows with bear covers! The RM buildings are used for storage but they will also be outfitted with camp stoves to be used as a remote shelter.

Easy Assembly

When we ship a building in parts, in addition to supplying an in depth assembly manual, we encourage the installer to call our RM assembly experts prior to  starting the install to go over the assembly manual.

Recently, we shipped an unassembled building , 20′ wide x 32′ long x 15′ high,to NASA and when we didn’t hear from them in a week or so, we called to offer our assistance. We found out that the building was already assembled and in use! The contractor hired by NASA said that the building went up so easily that he didn’t need to call us.

We have designed our product to be assembled so easily that it sure isn’t rocket science!
